Here’s a little info about your ol’ boy Lair. Born Larry Mell Morgan, JR to loving, Christian parents in the sweltering marshlands of Savannah, Georgia, Lair developed a healthy fear of clowns and mimes as well as a somewhat strange fascination with the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. In high school, Lair had dreams of becoming a professional wrestler himself, but his tall and sinewy frame didn’t really suit him for grappling. 

Our boy Lair overcame this disappointment, though, and earned a degree in finance (yep…finance) from the University of North Florida in Jacksonville. After a short stint as a financial wizard for a major investing firm, though, Lair came to a realization at a party that would change the direction of his life forever…It seems that girls like broke, skinny, mediocre guitar players even more than rich, yuppie, financial moguls! Well, some of them do…for a little while, anyway.

Now enlightened, Lair moved on to his dreams of becoming an impoverished, yet cool singer/songwriter type, and his debut CD release “Buffalo Road” was deemed an immediate success after virtually every close friend and family member of Lair’s was given a copy. After the crazy success of “Buffalo Road” (Lair’s mom Diane still has a few boxes under her bed if you want a copy), our kid went on to front the Christian rock band Nex7. Alas, though, Lair’s love of the occasional beer and Harry Potter books wasn’t really conducive to the band’s success in the Christian music realm. Fortunately, God still loves Lair, and they talk every day…seriously.

Now, Lair resides in Nashville, Tennessee, and he’s never felt more at home. I mean,  what could be better than kissing arse and playing for free every night, right? Now, if the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling was back on the air in syndication, white-boy afros were back in style, and clowns and mimes were outlawed, Lair’s life would be perfect. So look your friend Lair up, okay? He’s happy.
